"Our project team used Patient Educational Media Systems to create a video about a healthcare improvement project involving families and clinical teams from 46 academic centers. Patient Educational Media Systems did a terrific job. The staff filmed at project meetings, clinic and hospital encounters, and even made the effort to drive to patient's homes. The quality of the video and final product was top-notch and beautifully executed.
I think the thing that I most appreciated was their willingness and the care they took to tell our story. They asked a lot of questions at the beginning to understand what we wanted, were careful to gather lots of information, met with us frequently in person or by phone to review film drafts, and were receptive to feedback throughout the film editing. In addition, their thoughtful questions and observations helped us to understand when we weren't clear and helped us to tell the story better.
The whole process was made easier by their polite, congenial and engaging manner. I enjoyed our interactions (as did the families and clinical teams). The Patient Educational Media Systems team as always respectful and professional, with a warmth that allowed emotional subjects to be broached.
We have just begun to share the film and are receiving enthusiastic and wonderful positive feedback from families and clinical teams, and national policymakers. The film has already been shown on a revolving loop in the lobby at one of the federal healthcare agencies!!
I would wholeheartedly recommend Patient Educational Media Systems."
